CBSE 1st Term board examination date sheet released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Date Sheet for the 1st Term examination for Classes X and XII for the academic year 2021-22. The examinations for Class X are scheduled to be held from 30th November, 2021 to 11th December, 2021 while those for Class XII will be held from 1st December, 2021 to 22nd December, 2021.

CBSE has said that the date sheet for minor subjects will be provided directly to the schools. The minor subject exams for Class X will be held from 17th November, 2021 while those for Class XII will be held from 16th December, 2021. The exams will be of 90 minutes duration starting from 11.30 am and ending at 1 pm. Reading time will be of 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

Exams have been scheduled from 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am keeping in mind the winter season. The CBSE has clarified that all further information will be provided on the admit card and through the schools. CBSE will also update schools, candidates and parents on examinations through various modes. It has further mentioned that information circulated on Social media should not be taken into consideration unless its authenticity has been verified by checking on the CBSE’s official webiste, www.cbse.nic.in.

As announced earlier, CBSE has decided to hold the Board Examination in two terms for the academic year 2021-22, and the 1st term examinations for the same are being held in December, 2021.
