The Higher Education Department of Kerala has decided to provide 15 grace marks for meritorious scouts, guides, rovers and rangers for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses, reported the Hindu. State Universities provide 15 marks weightage to NCC and NSS certificate holders for UG programmes.
Now, the state has decided to extend the same to scouts, guides, rovers and rangers who have received the Rajya Puraskar and Nanmamudra certificates at the higher secondary school level.
