Kerala HC cancels offline exams of KTU

The Kerala High Court cancelled the offline examinations for the first and third semester of the B.Tech courses being conducted by the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). The order was passed by the single judge bench of Justice Amit Rawal.

Some students of the course had filed a writ petition challenging the conduct of the examination, being held from July 7, on the grounds that the UGC regulations. The regulations mandated that only final year semester examinations be conducted online while other examinations were to be conducted offline.

The University has, therefore, cancelled all examinations scheduled for Wednesday. However, no announcement has been made regarding the remaining examinations.
